The Donny Fund, a division of the John and Nancy Sykes Foundation, was started in 1993 to honor the memory of Donald Sykes. Its mission is to aid area families affected by catastrophic illness and to promote universal positivity and optimism. Each spring the Donny Fun Day, St. Pat's Run, and Rainbow Channel Swim are held so that participants are able to row, paddle, run, walk, and swim to support our effort. All proceeds are used to provide transportation, clothing, home care, medication, chemotherapy, and special days out for those in need in our local community.

Additionally, the Donny Fund and JNS Foundation support the South Jersey Field of Dreams, a place where physically and mentally challenged children and adults can participate in the Great American Pastime; baseball.

Thousands of people have contributed to the Donny Fund, but there are a few core-givers that we would like to recognize. The following companies and individuals seek no recognition; they are extraordinary people and true friends to our organization.
